Trade shows or fairs that are highly invested by participating companies are preferred to be held in Las Vegas Nevada because the city has some of the most modern and largest exhibition centers in the world.
The Las Vegas Convention Center being one of the largest convention centers in the world has 3,200,000 sq ft of space and is able to hold an event with 200,000 participants.

So far Conexpo-Con/Agg 2008 which was a trade show for the construction industry had used up the most space in the Las Vegas Convention Center taking up 2,400,000 sq ft with over 145,000 attendees and 2,000 exhibits.
Another big one which is held in Las Vegas every year's January is the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES). It requires up to 18 days to set up the show and has attracted over 150,000 individuals in 2006, 141,150 in 2008, 113,085 in 2009 and 120,000 in 2010.
Below is a list of trade shows that will be held soon in Las Vegas. Take note that not all of them are open to the public. Some might be classified as "Trade Only" which are only open to company representatives and people form the press. So check before you plan to visit any of them. For your convenience, trade shows are listed with their date, venue and description.
The largest convention center in Las Vegas is the Las Vegas Convention Center or LVCC. It is operated and owned by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority in Las Vegas, Nevada. The LVCC has a total space of 3,200,000 sq ft which is equivalent to 297,000 m² and can host an event with over 200,000 participants. There are 16 exhibit halls with a total space of 1,940,631 sq ft separated by movable partitions. The lobby and concourse areas is 109,515 sq ft. There are 144 meeting rooms with maximum number of seats ranging from 20 to 7,500. Number of parking space available is 5,000 cars. With respect to food and beverages, there are two restaurants with over 1,350 seats, 18 permanent concession stands, portable snack bars and group meal space for unlimited number of people.
The Sands Expo and Convention Center is the second largest convention center in Las Vegas. It has a total space of 1.8 million square feet for meeting and event hosting. It is owned and operated by the Las Vegas Sands Corporation. The third largest convention center in Las Vegas is the Mandalay Bay Convention Center which is owned by MGM Mirage. It has about 1.7 million square feet of meeting space, 38,818 square feet of exhibit space and 26,100 square feet of meeting and function space. Seats capacity is 12,000.
